I’VE DONE SO MUCH BUT I’VE BEEN SLACKING SO HERE’S ME TRYING TO CATCH UP ON EVERYTHING!
Okay I’ll start with my trip to my favorite place: Vegas. This trip was during the first week of July. I’ve just been so busy that I totally forgot that I didn’t blog about it (it got to the point where I convinced myself I did).
ANYWAY. I went to Vegas on a quick trip for a dance competition. The first night we went to a really nice steak house in the MGM Grand called Craft Steaks. My mom and I split the surf and turf and got sides of green beans, mashed potatoes, and potatoes au gratin. SO DELICIOUS. For dessert we got the chocolate lava cake and creme brûlée. They both were super good, but I really was surprised but the creme brûlée because I am not a huge fan of it, but this one was AMAZING! So basically I’m saying even if you hate creme brûlée like me you should eat it.
Day two was competition day. We woke up and went down to the breakfast cafe in the towers of the Signature MGM, which is where we were staying. I got the southwest scramble and my mother got toast. Okay sounds bland and boring, but this place has the best toast. A couple years back I was being a brat and made my mom walk all the way down to this cafe and get me toast. That’s how good it is. Walk ten minutes to another tower to get toast good.
After breakfast I got ready for comp and danced! WOOO! We also went to Wolfgang puck in the MGM.
The next day we woke up super late in the day so we went straight to lunch (which is fine with me because I’m not a huge breakfast fan). Our plan was to go to one of my favorite places in Vegas, Sugar Factory. However, Sugar Factory is closed and has been replaced with a FAKE sugar factory. *Eye roll* So instead we took the monorail and then walked to another great restaurant, Serendipity 3, which is outside Caesars Palace. Serendipity 3 is famous for their huge frozen hot chocolate drinks, but they also have huge portions of great food. The restaurant is decorated in many colors, mostly green and pink, and girly decorations. My parents order breakfast omelets that looked so delicious (and gigantic). I order a club sandwich and their special fries and I was blown away. SUCH A GOOD SANDWICH! I also ordered the frozen hot chocolate for two with sprinkles and chocolate syrup. It was super sweet and a lot for my first meal of the day but like my dad and Kylie Jenner say, you just have to experience things.

After lunch or whatever that meal was, we walked and shopped at the shops in Caesars Palace. They have so many shops and most people don’t realize how long the shops go on for because they stop when the ceiling painting stops and turn around. Don’t do that. Keep going. Make it to the second Coach store… yes there are two Coach stores. I love this “mall” because it is a literal dream. With stores like Fendi and Kate Spade and Victoria Secrets, you could spend hours here and never get bored. I mean as long as you win the lottery or something and can buy stuff. But those are just technicalities…
After shopping we went to the holy shrine. The place where Celine Dion performs, the colosseum. So the original plan was to see the queen while we were in Vegas, but she was in France the exact days I was in Vegas. It’s fine. I only cried once. But at least I got to sit on the stairs and just take it all in.
We then headed to the airport and went home:( I love Vegas and could spend so much time there, but it’s fine because I’ll be back to see my love Celine soon!!!
Here’s what I wore: On day 1, to dinner, I wore my infamous blue romper from Urban. The next day was fourth of July so I wore a crochet red white and blue top from Zara with jean shorts that did not fit. It was rough. Last day I wore the blue romper again because I wanted to look good just in case Celine was actually there.
Well this was super late but Vegas was so much fun, from the dancing to getting in trouble TWICE for playing slots underage. I hope you make the trip to Vegas soon!
THANKS LOVES!
