Dance takes me across the country but sometimes it allows me to adventure to amazing places right here in California that I would never go to on my own. This past weekend, I explored the hidden gem of Redondo Beach. I go to Redondo about three to four times a year and usually never step outside except to get food, but somehow I got to spend a whole day adventuring! Here are some surprising things I found in Redondo.
First things first is the food, because that’s what I was really looking for the whole time. There is a huge (and when I say huge I mean it) boba store called Honey Boba. It is amazing. Everything about it was a dream. The yellow and pink clad shop has all the flavors of milk tea and snow you could imagine. I got the strawberry milk tea and the chocolate almond with honey boba. The featured image is a picture of the ceiling of the store. AMAZING!!!

Since I can’t survive on just boba, I ate at Blaze Pizza which is pretty much everywhere but is very good, so if you have never been you should check it out! It’s like a Chipotle (which is across the street) but for pizza.
If you just keep driving for awhile, past the old and run down areas, you’ll find a really nice and high end business area called Rosecrans. There is a beautiful garden too that I walked around in. Some of the restaurants that fill this beautiful place are Houston’s, Paul Martin’s, PF Chang’s, and Grimaldi’s. I ate at Grimaldi’s which has the BEST cheesecake ever. And if you ask to try some they give you a huge slice so that’s a plus. I also went to PF Chang’s and got some delicious Korean BBQ. Cozymel’s is a great Mexican restaurant up there too. I know these aren’t exotic restaurants, but they are delicious and it should motivate you to come down to Redondo Beach and find some cool places like many of the shops I went to.
I wore a three quarter sleeve white top from Brandy and floral green shorts from Brandy with my hair in french braids. For my makeup I wore MAC foundation and NYX liquid lingerie lipstick in Lace Decal.
This was short and sweet but I needed an excuse to tell you about Honey Boba.
MUCH LOVE!
